Bath & Kitchen Tile Trends

One of the design elements that helps to make every bathroom remodel in Boca Raton different from every other bathroom in Boca is the choice of tile. The same goes for kitchen remodeling projects – in Boynton Beach or Boca, the choice of tile is a great way to express your individual style.

It’s amazing just how many tiles there are to choose from these days, so be sure to give yourself plenty of time to consider the possibilities if you are getting ready to begin a home remodeling project.

Tile Trends in 2020

As Houzz contributor Julie Sheer noted, some of the most popular trends in tile mimic some of the most popular design trends. She identified 3 top tile trends you can expect to see in design studios:

1 – “True Blues”

“The color blue is definitely having a design moment,” Sheer says. “A denim-like blue was chosen by both Pantone (Classic Blue) and Sherwin-Williams (Naval) as Color of the Year for 2020, and the tile world is responding in a big way.”

2 – Patterns & Shapes

The popularity of geometric shapes and pretty patterns continue to be popular choices in tiles. And it shouldn’t come as any surprise. As Sheer points out, the wide variety of shapes, sizes and decorative patterns are an easy way to add visual interest to your bathroom remodel or kitchen renovation. They are also a great way to incorporate your personal style into the space.

3 – Echoes of Nature

“The technology involved in creating faux-wood and faux-stone porcelain tile continues to improve,” Sheer tells us. “This season’s offerings include even more dramatic veining in marble-like porcelain, and a look that imitates charred wood.”

If you live in Delray Beach, Pompano Beach, Boynton Beach or Boca Raton and a bathroom or kitchen remodel is in your future, you’re going to have a hard time choosing from all the wonderful tiles available today. We would love to help you make the right choice, so please contact us.
